Cookie Policy
Last updated 27 August 2026
This page lists every cookie Sarlo sets, what each one is for, and how long it lasts. It is a short list — we do not use advertising networks and we have no third-party tracking scripts on this site.
You can change your mind at any time using the control below.
Your choice
Your cookie preferences
You have not made a choice yet, so we are only using strictly necessary cookies.
Choosing necessary only deletes the analytics and marketing cookies already on this device. It does not sign you out — the cookie that keeps you signed in is strictly necessary and stays.
Strictly necessary cookies are always on. We cannot run the site without them and the law does not require your consent for them. Everything else is off until you allow it, and goes away again if you withdraw permission.
If you have an account with us, we treat signing in as agreeing to our analytics cookies. You can still turn them off here, and we will respect that.
Other things stored on your device
| What | Where | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
trt_quiz_v1 | Local storage | Saves your progress through the assessment — including any name, phone number and date of birth you have entered — so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off. It stays on your device until you finish the assessment or it expires. | 14 days |
trt_attribution_pending | Session storage | Holds how you found us while we wait for your cookie decision. If you accept, it moves into the trt_attribution cookie. If you decline, it is deleted. | Until you close the tab |
trt_journey_pending | Session storage | Holds the pages you have viewed while we wait for your cookie decision, up to a limit of 50. If you accept, they are recorded. If you decline, they are deleted. | Until you close the tab |
| Sign-in token (mobile app) | Device storage | Keeps you signed in to the Sarlo app. It is held in your phone's encrypted secure storage and is removed when you sign out. | Until you sign out |
Third-party cookies
We do not set any. There is no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Meta pixel, no advertising network and no session-replay tool on this site.
When you pay, our checkout uses Stripe to handle your card details securely. Stripe may set cookies of its own for fraud prevention on those pages, which is a necessary part of taking a payment safely. Their use of them is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
The mobile app
The Sarlomobile app does not use cookies and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. It stores one thing on your phone: a sign-in token, held in the operating system's encrypted secure storage. Signing out removes it.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you do it per site. Be aware that blocking all cookies will sign you out and stop you signing back in, because the sign-in cookie is one of them.
- Chrome, Edge and Firefox: Settings → Privacy → Cookies and site data.
- Safari on Mac: Safari → Settings → Privacy.
- Safari on iPhone: Settings → Apps → Safari.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a cookie, we will update the tables above and change the date at the top of this page. If we ever start using a new category of cookie, we will ask for your consent again first.
